For those who have been researching the Aria serial number puzzle this may add to the conundrum. Nothing seams to match the numbers on deferent dating charts. Any help you guys can offer would be greatly appreciated! Don't know much about it, can anyone help?
No serial number is listed but I found the number stamped on the heel of the guitar. Finger picking or sheading is no problem with these babies. Unlike most hollow bodies, it is not light. Hello, thank you for taking the time to read my request.
Aria Pro II Identification
Aria Diamond was a name chosen for its early hollow bodied electric guitars. Some top line and special edition guitars are still manufactured in Japan, however, most Aria guitars are now produced in Korea and China. Well that's the thing with Aria's. Dave from Louisiana - I just got a G at a pawn shop i Austin with serial number that came off the line two guitars before yours! For the life of me, I have no clue where the serial number is.
Do not include any spaces in your answer. Previous owner had no info on it. There is occasional confusion between Matsumoku and Matsumoto. Lucky for me the repair to the bridge is not subtle but it is successful.

Do you know it's current value given that is in vgc. They still make some of the very high end models in Japan but those run into the dollar range. The op didn't have a guarantee card. Each model came in many different price ranges from bolt on necks, jointed necks, oasis dating for your to neck-thru.
The later ones Magnas etc don't generally go for a lot tbh, I'd be surprised if this did over a ton. Many people have never heard of the U and very few people have seen or played one. They set up well in my experience.

Over the years the Urchin U has proven to be pretty good guitar. The vast majority of these would have Ash Bodies and the export models would be Maple. That one you were looking at is newer. Click here to view the original discussion. They even have pearloid inlay inside the S-Holes.
Would like to know when it was mafe. The wood and craftsmanship are gorgeous. It is not stamped anywhere that I can see. They weren't the best Japan was making. As ever, pictures would go a long way to helping you out.
Can you give me more infor on this guitar. This created a very strong neck not prone to splitting or warping. Most of Aria's models were low to mid range overall. Good stuff, but bc of the age, best to play one in person when deciding to buy one - unless you can set up guitars.
How to Identify the Manufacture Date of an Aria Guitar
They're quite nicely made, but nothing really special, pickups are pretty characterless, and pots are garbage. Can't seem to find it online. Can you tell me anything about it? All are showing some wear to the gold finish.
It also has a laser-cut closed sound hole and it is acoustic electric. Yours looks the other way around. So it's best to do your homework and learn how to spot the differences between old and new and also low and high end.

American owned Unicord contracted Matsumoku to build most of its Univox and Westbury guitars. Wikimedia Commons has media related to Matsumoku.
